Overview
Verodrome is a client app for Ampache and Subsonic-compatible music servers, including servers such as Navidrome. Vero Fide LLC does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data from users of Verodrome.
The app does not rely on a Vero Fide-operated central service for user music libraries, account data, playback history, or analytics-based user profiling.
Information Collection
Verodrome does not collect:
- Personal information
- Analytics or usage tracking data
- Advertising identifiers
- Music library content, playlists, or audio files for storage on Vero Fide servers
- Location data
- Contact lists or unrelated device data
How Verodrome Works
Verodrome communicates directly between the user’s device and the Ampache, Subsonic, or other compatible music server configured by the user.
Any library metadata, artwork, audio streams, downloads, playlists, podcasts, radio stations, share links, credentials, or related content accessed through the app are transmitted only as needed for the app to function between:
- the user’s device, and
- the user’s configured music server or instance
Vero Fide LLC does not receive or store this music or account data through a central Verodrome service.
Local Device Storage
Verodrome may store data locally on the user’s device to support expected app functionality such as offline playback, library caching, downloads, saved preferences, account credentials, and session-related information.
This locally stored data remains on the user’s device unless the user removes the app, clears app data, or changes device settings.
Third-Party Services
Verodrome does not use third-party advertising SDKs or analytics platforms for user tracking.
If a user connects Verodrome to their own music server, the privacy and security practices of that server, hosting provider, reverse proxy, or supporting infrastructure are the responsibility of the user or server administrator.
Data Sharing
Vero Fide LLC does not sell, rent, disclose, or share user data with third parties through Verodrome.
If the user creates share links through a server that supports sharing, those links and any related content are handled by the user’s configured music server, not by Vero Fide LLC.
Children’s Privacy
Verodrome does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Security
Because Verodrome connects directly to the music server configured by the user, the security of library data and credentials depends in part on the security of the user’s device, network connection, and server setup.
Users are encouraged to secure their servers appropriately and use trusted network and authentication practices, including HTTPS where available.
