Privacy Policy

Trinote is built to respect user privacy. The app does not collect personal data and communicates directly between the user’s device and the user’s configured Trilium server.

Product: Trinote

Overview

Trinote is a client app for Trilium Notes. Vero Fide LLC does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data from users of Trinote.

The app does not rely on a Vero Fide-operated central service for user note content, account data, or analytics-based user profiling.

Information Collection

Trinote does not collect:

  • Personal information
  • Analytics or usage tracking data
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Note content for storage on Vero Fide servers
  • Location data
  • Contact lists or unrelated device data

How Trinote Works

Trinote communicates directly between the user’s device and the Trilium server or Trilium instance configured by the user.

Any notes, attachments, metadata, or related content accessed through the app are transmitted only as needed for the app to function between:

  • the user’s device, and
  • the user’s configured Trilium server or instance

Vero Fide LLC does not receive or store this note data through a central Trinote service.

Local Device Storage

Trinote may store data locally on the user’s device to support expected app functionality such as offline access, caching, saved preferences, and session-related information.

This locally stored data remains on the user’s device unless the user removes the app, clears app data, or changes device settings.

Third-Party Services

Trinote does not use third-party advertising SDKs or analytics platforms for user tracking.

If a user connects Trinote to their own Trilium server, the privacy and security practices of that server, hosting provider, reverse proxy, or supporting infrastructure are the responsibility of the user or server administrator.

Data Sharing

Vero Fide LLC does not sell, rent, disclose, or share user data with third parties through Trinote.

Children’s Privacy

Trinote does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

Security

Because Trinote connects directly to the Trilium server configured by the user, the security of note data depends in part on the security of the user’s device, network connection, and Trilium server setup.

Users are encouraged to secure their servers appropriately and use trusted network and authentication practices.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
